Saint Ambrose of Woodbury offers many
opportunities to share in the
gift of Music
Ministry at our faith community with a
number of choirs available to both young
people and adults.

| Joyful Noise -
Grades 1-2 |
This preparatory choir is designed for
young children who love to sing.
Through singing, moving and playing,
children will experience the joy of
singing and praising God together and
begin to learn what it is to be a
liturgical choir. They will lead our
community in song at parish liturgies
four times during the year, including
Christmas Eve. Rehearsals are
Wednesdays from 5:15 – 6:00.

Jubilate/Schola! - Grades 3-6 |
Singers begin reading music from the hymnal
and sheet music, focus on good singing
technique, develop a unified choral sound
and begin simple harmonies. Schola singers
(grades 5-6) develop skills in musical
leadership, and work on more advanced
musical concepts. We will sing at weekend
liturgies, about once each month, including
Christmas and Easter. Rehearsals are
Wednesdays from 5:15 – 6:00, Schola stays
until 6:15. Director:

/ Sr. High Choir |
For singers and instrumentalists. Musicians
continue to work on more involved
arrangements, and grow in their role as
ministers of music, leading the assembly in
sung prayer. Both choirs will sing together
for the Youth Mass (5:00 the second Sunday
of each month) and an 11:00 Mass each month.
The Junior High Choir (grades 7-10) will
also have the opportunity to join with our
Jubilate and Schola choirs at Christmas and
Easter. Rehearsals are Wednesdays from 5:15
to 6:15.
The Senior High Choir (grades 9-12) will
also have the opportunity to join with our
combined adult choirs at Christmas, Triduum
and feast days. Rehearsals are Wednesdays
from 6:30 to 7:30.

Generations
A
choir where families can sing
together—for all ages! This choir
